The Mechanical Products Series 67 Dual Battery Disconnect Switch features a built-in circuit breaker. This dual battery switch can switch power from either battery or both batteries to the OUTPUT & ACC studs of the switch. This unique combination of features in a single rotary switch allows OEM cost savings by eliminating the added components, material and labor of a separate battery switch and circuit breaker/fuse. The switch can be ordered fitted with different circuit breaker ratings from 30A to 150A.
The switch has 4 positions (Off, 1, 2, 1+2) so power can be supplied from either battery or both batteries. When the switch is in positions; 1, 2 or 1+2, power is output via 2 rear studs (OUTPUT & ACC). The OUTPUT stud is a direct power output. The ACC stud feeds power via the built-in circuit breaker to protect electrical devices on this circuit. It also features the following mounting options;
